Cleaning Instructions for felt hats

Remove loose dirt with a soft hat brush. Don’t use a nylon brush as the bristles may be too abrasive for the delicate felt of the hat.

Brush gently in a clockwise motion around the top of the brim and counterclockwise on the bottom if there is no under brim.

Regular brushing will preserve the life of the hat.

To remove fuzz and hair, wipe the hat gently with a piece of clear packing tape.

For light smudges and stains, use a specially formulated hat cleaner or a special hat cleaning sponge or a combination of both.

5.
For grease stains, rub a little cornstarch into the stain and then brush it off.
